Information on the convention holding subsidy system
The Association provides subsidies and interest-free loans for holding conventions. However, we may not be able to meet your request as it is within our budget.
For conventions held in Gifu City and hosted by academic organizations with participation scale of 100 or more from more than 4 prefectures including Gifu Prefecture, we will provide subsidies according to the period and number of participants. However, it should be within 20% of the total cost. *For details, please check the file download section.
Those with participants from more than 10 prefectures including Gifu prefecture
Other scale:
Those with participants from 4 prefectures or more but less than 10 prefectures including Gifu prefecture
Special additional subsidy:
If a foreigner participates from overseas , a special addition will be made by multiplying the number of participating foreigners by 10,000 yen. However, the maximum limit is 1,000,000 yen.

Subsidies for holding small-scale international conferences
It is held in Gifu City for 2 days or more, and is sponsored by an academic organization, etc., from 2 or more countries including Japan, with a participation scale of 20 or more and less than 100, of which 10 or more are foreigners who do not reside in Japan. Subsidies will be provided according to the number of participants for small meetings with 30% or more of the total number of participants. Subsidies for holding sports events
We will provide subsidies according to the period and the number of participants for sports competitions held in Gifu City and organized by organizers of sports competitions with 100 or more participants from more than 4 prefectures including Gifu Prefecture.
