The sightseeing boat you will be boarding is a luxury cormorant fishing viewing boat exclusively for private charters.
Enjoy perks unique to a luxury cormorant fishing viewing boat, such as having the cormorant fisherman himself explain the fishing techniques as the boat docks alongside, watching the fishing from the best possible vantage point of the day, and observing the day's catch and cleanup process under the guidance of the cormorant fisherman.

You can enjoy an authentic French course meal made with local Gifu Prefecture ingredients on board, along with a variety of beverages, including alcoholic drinks, to complement the cuisine according to your preference.

From application to boarding on the day

Please make your reservation online or by phone to the Gifu Convention and Visitors Bureau at least 11 days before your departure date.

Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you a "Reservation Confirmation Notice" (via email, fax, or postal mail). Please check the contents of this notice.
Payment should be made by credit card (online payment, one-time payment) or by bank transfer to the account designated by our association by the due date. (Bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer.)
On the day of your trip, please complete the check-in process yourself at the counter of the cormorant fishing viewing boat office.
Please present the "Reservation Confirmation" we sent you.
Please also confirm the name of the ship you will be boarding. <Required> Please complete the check-in process by 5:30 PM.
After checking in, please proceed directly to the sightseeing boat you will be boarding.
A dedicated staff member will assist you with boarding.
The boat will depart around 5:50 PM, so please be sure to board before then.
For additions, changes, or cancellations after registration, please contact the Gifu Convention and Visitors Bureau.
If you reduce the number of people or cancel your reservation due to your own circumstances, the following cancellation fees will apply.

About cormorant fishing viewing boat boarding

Please refrain from bringing additional food and drinks onto the ship.
*Regarding beverages, please request any alcoholic drinks other than those already included with your meal as they are considered optional and must be requested at the time of booking.
• While the sightseeing boat is docked at the riverbank, a dedicated toilet boat is moored nearby, so please use that.
Disembarkation will be around 8:30 PM. (Around 9:15 PM on days when the Imperial Cormorant Fishing takes place.)
*Please check the Gifu City Cormorant Fishing Viewing Boat Office website for the dates of the Imperial Cormorant Fishing.
Smoking is prohibited on board.

Access to the boarding point for the cormorant fishing viewing boat

[When using public transportation]
From JR Gifu Station or Meitetsu Gifu Station, take the bus for about 16 minutes and get off at "Nagarabashi Minami Kawaramachi" bus stop. Then walk for 1 minute. Take the Gifu Bus bound for "Yamagata Bus Terminal" and other routes via Nagarabashi
[By car]
Please use the Gifu Park parking lot .

Guidance and caution

・If cormorant fishing is not possible due to flooding, typhoons, etc., the tour will be canceled.
*The decision to cancel the tour will be made around noon on the day of the event.
・In the event that we are forced to cancel the tour, we will refund a portion of the tour price minus necessary expenses.
*If you only wish to receive the food and drinks that were scheduled to be served, please let us know separately.
If the tour does not meet the minimum number of participants, we will notify you of the cancellation at least 10 days prior to the scheduled departure date.
This plan does not include a tour guide, but a dedicated staff member will assist you on board.
The "Omakase Pack Premium" is a package tour planned and implemented by the Gifu Convention and Visitors Bureau.
